What is Card Maximiser?

Card Maximiser is a feature in the HeyMax app that automatically tracks your linked credit cards’ rewards, including how much you’ve spent, how many points/miles you’ve earned, and how much of your bonus caps or minimum spends you’ve reached — all in one place.

The points/miles that we track here are not Max Miles, but rewards from the card issuer / bank. It’s purely for informational purpose as HeyMax is not the one issuing the rewards.

Which cards are supported on Card Maximiser?

✅ Transaction tracking

You can link almost all Visa cards issued in Singapore to Card Maximiser to track your spending automatically.

If there’s a card you own that you don’t see in the HeyMax app, let us know here: https://feedback.heymax.ai/

⭐ Reward tracking (selected cards)

At the moment, reward tracking is supported only on selected top miles cards. These cards show your points or miles earned, along with relevant reward rules where applicable:

  • Chocolate Visa

  • Citi PremierMiles Visa

  • Citi Rewards Visa

  • DBS Altitude

  • DBS Vantage

  • DBS yuu

  • HSBC Revolution

  • Maybank eVibes

  • Maybank Horizon Visa Signature

  • UOB Visa Signature

  • OCBC Premier Voyage

  • OCBC Voyage

  • Standard Chartered Journey Card

  • Standard Chartered Smart Card

  • UOB Preferred Platinum Visa

You can still link other Singapore-issued Visa cards to Card Maximiser to track your spending, but reward tracking (points or miles earned) is not yet supported for those cards.

Which cards can I edit the statement date on?

HeyMax helps you track your transactions and rewards earned from the card issuer on linked Visa cards. We support linking almost all Visa cards in Singapore, so you can track your transactions, but only support rewards tracking on the top miles cards.

You can edit the statement date on linked Visa cards where we track rewards AND have a bonus cap which resets based on your statement cycle.

Cards with reward tracking AND bonus cap based on statement cycle (can edit):

  • Citi PremierMiles Visa

  • Citi Rewards Visa

  • DBS Vantage

  • OCBC Premier Voyage

  • OCBC Voyage

  • Standard Chartered Journey Card

  • Standard Chartered Smart Card

  • UOB Visa Signature

Cards with reward tracking BUT bonus cap NOT based on statement cycle (cannot edit):

  • Chocolate Visa

  • DBS Altitude

  • DBS yuu

  • HSBC Revolution

  • Maybank eVibes

  • Maybank Horizon Visa Signature

  • UOB Preferred Platinum Visa (PPV)

All other cards don’t have reward tracking yet hence statement date is not editable.

How does HeyMax account for card rewards that are based on posting date?

If the card’s rewards are calculated based on posting date, HeyMax first counts transactions towards the current month cap. Once the transaction posts, it would be updated and count to the new month.

For cards where rewards are calculated based on transaction date (e.g. DBS cards), the rewards would be calculated based on transaction date.

How long does it take for my transactions to track?

Transactions typically track immediately.

However, if you use a physical card to pay, there are rare cases where it takes up to 2 weeks to track. This happens when the merchant’s acquiring bank is the same as your card issuer, so the transaction doesn’t pass through Visa’s network.

How does HeyMax track my card spending?

We’ve partnered with Visa, a world leader in digital payments, to bring you HeyMax Card Maximiser. You can securely link your credit card via a Visa-hosted webpage. With your authorisation, Visa sends us a stream of your transactions that happen on your linked card thereafter. This does not give HeyMax the ability to access your card number nor charge your card.

Rest assured, you control your data and can choose to delete it from HeyMax anytime by unlinking your card.

What data does HeyMax collect?

Your cards are linked via Visa’s secure webpage, so HeyMax does not gain access to your card number.

We only collect your transaction history and the last 4 digits of your card number for identification purposes.

I added my card, but why can't I link it?

As of now, we don’t yet support linking non-Visa cards (e.g. Mastercard / American Express), but we plan to support linking all major credit cards in the future.
