How do I start earning miles from referrals?
Begin by sharing your referral link! Once your friend signs up and verifies their SG phone number, you’ll both begin to earn 2 MPD on Bus/MRT rides.
To start earning, link your Visa card and use it for rides. (Note: Linking a Visa card is required to earn miles, but not needed for the referral to be considered complete.)
What do I get from referring friends?
You earn more Max Miles per ride based on how many friends you refer:
1 referral linkage = 2 MPD
3 referral linkage = 4 MPD
6 referral linkage = 6 MPD
If you are referred by someone, you automatically start at the 2 MPD tier!
Do I need a Visa card to earn miles?
Yes, you must link a Visa card to earn miles on bus/MRT rides.
Why am I still earning 0 MPD?
You must refer at least 1 friend who completes their phone number verification. Once that’s done, both you and your friend's MPD rate will update automatically.
When do I get my miles?
Your Referral MPD begins for MRT / Bus rides posted after your friend verifies their phone number. Miles are credited 1 day after your ride. That means that at the time of when MRT / Bus transaction is posted on your card (e.g. 5.30am SGT), it will take your current MPD rate you have at the time to award you your miles.
How do I get 6 MPD?
For Bus/MRT spends posted before your 1st completed referral you will earn 0 MPD
For Bus/MRT spends posted after your 1st completed referral you will earn 2 MPD
For Bus/MRT spends posted after your 3rd completed referral you will earn 4 MPD
For Bus/MRT spends posted after your 6th completed referral you will earn 6 MPD
Is there a cap to how much I can earn?
Yes. Users participating in the campaign can earn up to 6,000 Max Miles during this campaign.

Does this affect my existing referees from the previous referral program?This replaces the existing referral program for all new sign ups from Singapore. Existing referees on the platform made will not contribute towards the SG60 campaign and will continue to earn the referrer the bonus rate described at which the user signed up with.
What does my referee get when they sign up via a referral link?
Once your referee verifies their Singapore phone number, they will immediately earn one referee linkage, enabling them to earn at the base tier of 2 MPD (Max Miles per Dollar) on MRT and Bus rides without needing to refer someone.

How many people can I refer?
As many as you like! But your bonus MPD maxes out at 6 referrals = 6 MPD.
Where can I track my referrals?
In the "Referral history" section of the app:
In Progress: Friends who signed up but have not verified their ph one number
Completed: Friends who earned you the MPD rewards
My friend signed up but I don’t see them in my referral history. What happened?
Please check that they have:
Used your exact referral link
Verified their phone number
Should they not have done so, they won’t be able to qualify for the referral bonus.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are not allowed and HeyMax reserves the right to terminate any account and claw back miles disbursed should users be identified to have done so.
