The Basics
1. What is the HeyMax Grocery Rewards programme?
It's a weekend campaign running from 1 June to 31 July 2026 where you can earn Max Miles on qualifying grocery purchases made with your linked Hong Kong Visa card through HeyMax. Transactions only count on Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of 2 public holidays.
2. When does the campaign run?
The campaign is live from 1 June 2026 (00:00 HKT) to 31 July 2026 (23:59 HKT). Only transactions made on Saturdays and Sundays are eligible — weekday purchases don't qualify. However, both 19 June (Friday) and 1 July (Wednesday) dates are eligible.
Note: the campaign may end early in any given month if the 600,000 Max Miles monthly budget is fully used up before month-end.
3. Who is eligible?
You're eligible if you hold a valid Hong Kong-issued Visa card (physical, Apple Pay, or Google Wallet), have linked and verified it to your HeyMax account at least 24 hours before transacting, and make qualifying grocery purchases on weekends during the campaign period.
Earning miles
4. How many Max Miles can I earn?
You earn 300 Max Miles per qualifying transaction of HK$300 or more. The monthly cap is 1,500 Max Miles per user — that's up to 5 qualifying transactions per month. Once you hit the cap, further transactions won't earn additional miles for the rest of that calendar month.
5. What counts as a qualifying transaction?
A qualifying transaction must be a grocery purchase at a supermarket or grocery store (MCC 5411), totalling at least HK$300 in a single payment, made on a Saturday or Sunday using your linked Hong Kong Visa card through HeyMax.
6. Can I use coupons?
Yes, but your final checkout total must still be HK$300 or above after any coupons or discounts are applied.
7. I just linked my card. Can I start earning right away?
Not immediately. Your card must be linked and verified at least 24 hours before your transaction. Purchases made within that window may not be tracked or rewarded.
Getting your miles
8. When will my Max Miles be credited?
Miles are credited within 2–3 days of your qualifying transaction being successfully settled if using a physical card. Miles are typically credited within 1-2 days if using Apple or Google Pay.
Account & policies
9. Can I have multiple HeyMax accounts to earn more?
No. Each HeyMax account and unique Visa card is limited to 1,500 Max Miles per month. Creating multiple accounts or using fraudulent card information will result in account termination and forfeiture of all miles.
10. Can the campaign be changed or ended early?
Yes. HeyMax reserves the right to amend, suspend, or end the campaign at any time without prior notice, including if the monthly budget is exhausted early.
