1. Campaign Overview
Q: What is the TaoBao Flash Earn Weekend?
A: It is a limited-time Flash Earn Weekend / Bonus Miles campaign running from 27 March (00:01) to 29 March (23:59) 2025. HeyMax users who make qualifying purchases on TaoBao can earn bonus Max Miles on top of their regular Miles (product-specific DPM earn rate).
Q: When exactly does the campaign run?
A: The campaign runs for 3 days: Friday 27 March at 00:01 HKT through Sunday 29 March at 23:59 HKT. Purchases made outside this window are not eligible for the bonus. All other exclusions and regular terms and conditions apply,
Q: Do I need to register or opt in?
A: No registration or opt-in is required. Any logged in user with al linked purchase made through TaoBao via HeyMax during the campaign period will automatically qualify for the bonus Miles.
2. Earning Bonus Max Miles
Q: How do I earn bonus Max Miles during this campaign?
A: Simply make a purchase on TaoBao through HeyMax during the campaign period. Your total checkout amount determines the bonus tier:
Spend Tier | Bonus Max Miles | On Top of Regular Miles? |
HK$300 – HK$499 | +100 Max Miles | Yes |
HK$500 or above | +300 Max Miles | Yes |
Note: Bonus Miles are awarded on top of the regular Miles you already earn on TaoBao purchases.
Q: Is the bonus per transaction or per day?
A: The bonus is applied per qualifying transaction. Each transaction that meets the spend threshold will earn the corresponding bonus, subject to the per-user limit of 1,000 Max Miles across the entire campaign period.
Q: Can I earn both tiers in the same campaign period?
A: Yes. If you have multiple transactions — e.g. one at HK$350 and another at HK$600 — each qualifies independently for its respective tier. However, your total bonus Miles across all transactions cannot exceed 1,000 Max Miles.
Q: What counts as the 'total checkout cost'?
A: The total checkout cost refers to the full amount paid for the order as reflected in the transaction approved by TaoBao. This includes item cost and any applicable fees at checkout.
3. Miles Crediting
Q: When will my bonus Max Miles be credited?
A: Bonus Miles are credited after the parent transaction has been approved. Approval timing depends on TaoBao's transaction processing. Miles will not be credited for pending or unconfirmed/rejected orders.
Q: What happens to my bonus Miles if I cancel or refund my order?
A: Any cancellation or refund of a qualifying transaction will result in the forfeiture of the associated bonus Miles. If the Miles have already been credited, they will be deducted accordingly.
Q: I completed my purchase during the campaign but haven't received my bonus Miles yet. What should I do?
A: Please allow some processing time after transaction approval. If bonus Miles have not appeared after a reasonable period, check to see if transaction was approved (not cancelled or refunded) and that it met the spend threshold. If the issue persists, escalate to support team with the transaction details.
4. Campaign Limits
Q: Is there a cap on how many bonus Miles I can earn?
A: Yes. Each user can earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus Max Miles across the entire campaign period, regardless of the number of qualifying transactions.
Q: Is there an overall campaign budget?
A: Yes. The total bonus Miles available across all users is capped at 100,000 Max Miles. Once this budget is exhausted, no further bonus Miles will be awarded even if the campaign period has not ended.
Q: What should I tell a customer who says they didn't receive their bonus even though the campaign was still running?
A: It is possible the overall campaign budget of 100,000 Max Miles was fully claimed before the end of the campaign period. In that case, no further bonuses can be issued.
5. Eligibility & Edge Cases
Q: Are all TaoBao purchases eligible?
A: Any item purchased on TaoBao with a total checkout cost exceeding HK$300 is eligible, as long as the transaction is made through HeyMax during the campaign period and is approved (not cancelled or refunded).
Q: What if my transaction is split across multiple shipments or payments?
A: The eligibility is based on the total checkout cost of the parent transaction at the point of approval. Split shipments of a single order are assessed based on the original order value. For split payment scenarios, please escalate to the team for case-by-case review.
