Book Business or First Class now, earn your miles back later. HeyMax First gives you a Miles Pool loaded instantly — draw miles to book flights, then replenish through everyday spending on HeyMax. Membership fee waived for the first 10,000 sign-ups.
The Basics
1. What is HeyMax First?
1. What is HeyMax First?
HeyMax First is a membership that gives you instant access to a Miles Pool — enough miles to book a premium flight today, without waiting years to accumulate them.
Here's how most loyalty programs work: earn for months (or years), hope the seats are still available, then redeem. HeyMax flips that. You get the miles upfront, book your dream seat, then earn the miles back through spending at HeyMax's 500+ partner merchants. Your pool refills, and you're ready for the next trip.
2. Who is HeyMax First for?
2. Who is HeyMax First for?
Anyone who wants to fly premium and doesn't want to wait years to get there.
New to miles? You've seen Business Class, looked at the cash price, and moved on. HeyMax First gives you the miles now, and you earn them back through everyday spending at HeyMax's 500+ partner merchants.
Already in the game? Award availability is shrinking, programmes keep devaluing, and the specific seat you want for the trip you're planning just isn't there. HeyMax First lets you tap into availability across 20+ programmes instantly — without waiting for your balance to catch up.
Either way: fly the trip first, earn your way back over time.
HeyMax First is currently available to Singapore users only.
3. Is this the same as buying miles?
3. Is this the same as buying miles?
No. HeyMax First is a membership, not a miles purchase. Your Miles Pool gives you upfront access so you can book a premium flight today, while you earn back through everyday spending on the platform. Members are expected to actively earn back over time through HeyMax's 500+ partner merchants. If a member draws miles and cancels without earning back, the outstanding access fee is forfeited and future membership eligibility may be affected.
4. When can I join?
4. When can I join?
The waitlist opens 15 April 2026, 10am SGT. Members will start getting access in Q2 2026 — sign up early to secure your spot and lock in the Year 1 membership fee waiver, available to the first 10,000 members.
5. How do I know I'm on the waitlist?
5. How do I know I'm on the waitlist?
You'll see a confirmation screen after signing up, and receive a confirmation email shortly after. No further action is needed on your end.
Once the membership launches in Q2 2026, we'll work through the waitlist and notify you when your access is ready. If you've already joined, you're in a good position. Refer friends to move up the list.
How It Works

10. What exactly am I paying?
10. What exactly am I paying?
There are two parts to the cost:
Annual Membership Fee — What you pay to join HeyMax First and access your Miles Pool. Non-refundable. Good news: it's waived entirely in your first year for the first 10,000 members.
Refundable Access Fee — Paid when you draw miles from your pool. This fee comes back to you as you earn miles through HeyMax, in 10,000-mile increments. Reclaimed amounts are transferred to your PayNow account.
Example (Gold tier):
Draw 50,000 miles → pay S$1,350 access fee (50,000 × S$0.027)
Earn 10,000 miles back → reclaim S$270
Earn all 50,000 miles back → reclaim the full S$1,350
11. How do I pay the membership fee and access fee?
11. How do I pay the membership fee and access fee?
Both fees are paid via PayNow. When you're ready to draw miles or renew your membership, you'll receive a unique PayNow QR code. Payments are typically confirmed within minutes, and your miles will be available to draw once payment is received.
12. Is the membership fee refundable?
12. Is the membership fee refundable?
No. The annual membership fee is for access to HeyMax First and is non-refundable (in line with standard annual subscription terms). For the first 10,000 sign-ups, the membership fee is waived in Year 1, so this only applies from Year 2 onward.
13. Is the access fee refundable?
13. Is the access fee refundable?
Yes, fully, as you earn miles back. For every 10,000 miles you earn through HeyMax activity, you can reclaim the equivalent portion of your access fee. Reclaimed amounts are paid out to your PayNow account. Only miles you earn back through HeyMax activity count toward reclaiming your access fee. Miles drawn from your pool do not count as earned.
There's no deadline to earn back as long as your membership stays active.
14. What if I don't earn back all my miles within the year?
14. What if I don't earn back all my miles within the year?
There's no in-year deadline. As long as your membership is active, you can keep earning back at your own pace.
At renewal:
If you choose to renew: Your Miles Pool carries over at the same balance. Keep earning and drawing as usual.
If you've earned back your miles fully and don't renew: You can rejoin HeyMax First anytime in the future.
If you haven't earned back your miles fully and don't renew: Any outstanding access fee is forfeited, and you will not be eligible to rejoin HeyMax First.
15. Can I upgrade to a higher tier?
15. Can I upgrade to a higher tier?
Yes, at any time during your membership year. To upgrade, pay the difference in membership fee between your current and new tier.
A few things to know:
Miles already drawn carry over and remain drawn from your new, larger pool.
Access fee reclaim rate on your existing drawn miles stays at the rate you originally paid — upgrading doesn't change that.
New miles drawn after upgrading are charged at the new tier's lower rate.
Reclaims are processed in the order you paid — your earliest access fee is reclaimed first. For example, if you drew miles at S$0.027/mi before upgrading, then drew more at S$0.025/mi after, the S$0.027/mi tranche is reclaimed first.
16. Does the Year 1 membership fee waiver still apply if I upgrade?
16. Does the Year 1 membership fee waiver still apply if I upgrade?
Yes — if you qualify for the Year 1 membership fee waiver and you upgrade during your first year, the waiver extends to your new tier. There's no membership fee to pay until your second year, regardless of which tier you move to.
17. Can I downgrade to a lower tier?
17. Can I downgrade to a lower tier?
You can request a downgrade at any time, but it will only take effect at your next renewal. To qualify, you'll need to have earned back enough miles so that your outstanding drawn balance fits within the lower tier's pool size.
A few things to know about access fee reclaims when changing tiers:
Your reclaim rate is locked to the access fee rate you paid when you drew those miles. Changing tiers doesn't change it.
Reclaims are processed in the order you drew. Your earliest drawdown is returned first.
18. Can I sign up with multiple accounts?
18. Can I sign up with multiple accounts?
Each person is entitled to one HeyMax First membership. This keeps the program fair for everyone.
To ensure this, we require identity verification during the sign-up process. If we detect multiple accounts linked to the same individual, we reserve the right to suspend or remove the accounts involved.
